(SOLD)
Take a look at this stunning 1974 Dodge Charger! This Charger is finished in a stunning metallic bronze, which compliments the tan vinyl top perfectly. With only 57,047 believed be original miles, this Charger still has an incredible amount of charge left before it runs out. 1974 was the last model year for the 3rd-Generation Charger, which ran from 1971 to 1974. The restyled Charger featured all-new "Fuselage" sheet metal styling and a new split-grille. The 1974 model year saw minor changes that included new color choices, a softer grain pattern on interior surfaces, and a slight increase in the size of the rubber bumper tips. This incredible Dodge is powered by its #'s matching 360 C.I. V8 paired to a 4-barrel carburetor, giving this Charger all the get-up-and-go it needs to burn some rubber. That power gets to the rear wheels through a 3-speed automatic transmission, ensuring that acceleration is smooth and linear. The bodycolor-matching tan and brown interior not only looks great but it is extremely comfortable, perfect for highway speeds or cruises. This gleaming Dodge comes equipped with bucket seats, a pistol-grip shifter, remote mirrors, adjustable seats, a heater + defroster, a working factory pushbutton AM radio, and a dual-exhaust system. The car is fitted with a sweet set of Cragar SS wheels on top of Wide track Radial S/T RWL tires, completing this Charger's sporty look. This Charger is one special ride, and it is sitting here waiting for its next owner to let it charge down the highway.

What a TREAT!!! After the late 60's models, the Chargers never got the respect they deserve. However with the rarity of these early 70's to mid 70's they look super. That 4 barrel and dual exhaust elevate this cars attractiveness along with the warm coloring scheme. I mean to walk up to this car and climb in to fire up that motor is electrifying. Very nice and Thank You for posting.

IT's so rare to find one with this color combination. That dark brown with the light tan vinyl top and interior is absolutely gorgeous. It's got more of a luxury vibe going which i really really love.

Beautiful car. Friend of mine had a 74 in Black with a 400 in it and a white interior. Bought it from a friend of mines brother who purchased it new. This was in 1979. Car was probably the nicest looking Chargers ever. Eventually the 400 was pulled and a 440 was thrown in. This car looks virtually untouched which makes it really rare. Thanks for the memories watching this video!

Beautiful example of the end of an era, the last year of the 3rd-gen Chargers; what followed in 1975 was no longer a true Charger. I remember as a teenager, I built a model of the 1974 Charger, that car was my dream car at the time. When I was 18, I bought a 1970 Charger 500, 383 Magnum and still own it, I'm 55 now. I'm glad I chose the '70, as time passed by, I appreciated the 2nd-gen body lines more.

😎 In 1974 I traded my 1968 Barracuda for one of these cars Mine was an opera window car that I installed the SE window appliances, matching the vinyl tops' color. Mine had a bench seat interior with the wild, but classy brown, black, orange stripe cloth insert interior. Light tan top and of course the BEST feature the was the same color as this car...!!! The color's name is "Dark Moonstone", and EVERYBODY always remarked about the color. It was beautiful !!!! Lotza metallic and what seemed like red and and green specks along with the regular metallic. Gorgeous!!! Wish I still had it !!!!

I'll be honest I'm not much of a Mopar and I do not care for Ford either I'm mostly a GM person. But I will have to admit this is a very nice looking ride it grabs attention it is attractive and it is cool to look at. I don't have the money to afford something like this but if I did I would buy it, because you just don't see hardly any of them anymore very rare to even see one on the road.

Reminds me of my very first car at 16 years old. In 1976. I went to the Dodge dealership with my dad and bought my '71 Dodge charger 383 automatic gold with tan interior... Also had a black hard top.. I paid only $1,750 for that car back then. Wish I had it now... I used to put so much wax on that car. You could sit on it and slide off the fender

I'm a Bowtie guy (Tri-fives, Chevelles), but have been a closet Mopar enthusiast all my life. Always thought the styling of these Chargers was incredibly unique. Knew a guy in HS who had a Plymouth Satellite with the same styling. (In and odd twist, my driveway is full of newer Fords. The GM bailout did me in)

I wish Dodge had kept this wonderful body style one more year ('75) to have given it 5 model years. The "comparable" cars from GM were the Chevelle and LeMans, but were in no way comparable starting with the hideous 'collanade' coupes in '73. Despite THOSE, I do love the '73-''77 Monte Carlo and Grand Prix. The '75+ Charger was in the Cordoba body style.

I can highly appreciate that the mopar muscle cars where still being made up to the mid 70s and still managed to look like how a muscle car should despite having to comply with unorthodox emissions and doe regulations. Gm and ford by this point were producing uninteresting economy cars or really choked up touring cars, chevy at least still had the 2nd gen Camaro platform you can build off of, ford had that pathetic pinto premier mustang ii. I used to be more of a halfway between mopar and gm guy, but more so gm now because chrysler is being ruined by that horrible merger with psa and fiat. As for my opinion on ford, forget it i will never step foot in any modern ford after they made that 3v 5.4l triton disaster in the f150 and super duty with the flawed cam phasers and the flawed two piece design spark plugs 🤦🏼‍♂️

A bit of trivia: The hood emblems just say "Magnum" without the engine call out because in 1974 the 360 replaced the 340. So, in 1973, they had "340 Magnum" script emblems and they just had "Magnum" in 1974. Not sure why, maybe not enough lead time to have them mass produced via a mold? Who knows. I think they should have had them made!

I know it is sold, but what did it sell for?? I had one like this years ago. The "Magnum" emblem was standard with the 360, since they did not have "360 Magnum" emblems made like in 1973. Unique to the 1974 Rallye with the 360 4bbl.

I don't even think I'd say it was detuned. The 74 E58 was the first time the 360 wasn't a gutless truck engine, and it made more power than the 1973 340 that it replaced.

To be fair, extremely few '70 Chargers had the 426 Hemi option. Most of them were 335-hp 383 Magnums or 375-hp 440 Magnums. But indeed, the weak, smog emissions-controlled options after 1972 did the Chargers no favors.
