1974 NC State Wolfpack: A Team for the Ages 

Im a staunch Duke fan most of my long life,and the victory by NCSU goes down as a great day for the conference.

I was 13 when they played in 74..remember it like it was yesterday

ACC Tournament was the greatest ACC game ever, by the greatest ACC team ever, with the greatest player ever.

I remember they were ranked #2,#3(Maryland)and#4(UNC) for a long time. Still thought they would beat UCLA in regulation.

NC State has always been my team. I have fleeting memories and solid ones of that championship season. I was only a kid. As a youngster the championship game was a vague memory of mine after that UCLA game
