The customer's wish was to convert the rare 1975 Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman - while retaining its characteristic features - to the comfort and standards of the (then) current Maybach. Everything has been rebuilt, but with great respect for the car, keeping historic and uniting to modern standards. Various parts have been specially developed and come from the Maybach, such as the characteristic glass dimmable panoramic roof. It contains all the luxury, such as electrically adjustable seats with heating and cooling, refrigerator with minibar, cameras, Swarovski diamonds in the ceiling frames, large extendable DVD screen, Dolby Surround Sound System, folding work tables and more. The complete restoration of the 600 Pullman started in 2007 and lasted until 2014. The total investment was almost € 3,000,000. Mercedes-Benz Classic was responsible for the implementation in collaboration with the development department of Daimler AG. In order to keep the old-timer approval later (H-Kennzeichen), the original components of the W-100 were used and the car still has its original gearbox and engine (so matching numbers). Speaking of which, the 6.3-liter V8 engine delivers 250 PS (247 HP) to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. Original and custom made documentation are specially designed for the Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman.
