My dad bought his in l8 '75,but, his was a hardtop with the Astroroof. It was AWESOME. He was convinced that the 500cid was more efficient with the Fuel Injection. Yeah,Right!! But,it had more horsepower & for the times, 400lbft of torque. The MPGs were not there but, it was nice to drive. AWESOME MASTERPIECE. I can imagine the landyachts with the same engine but, today's technology. Ah, who knows. Not everyone wants an big SUV.
Push button in the glove compartment to open the trunk. he slammed the trunk down I thought they all had power locks you just closed it very easy and it catches and pulls itself closed
Didn't put the top down due to the temperature. Owners' manual warns not to operate the convertible top below 42 degrees. Learned that expensive lesson with my 75 stationed at Whidbey Island.
Your not suppost to slam that hood or door you will chip the paint. That's an old wise tail to slam doors and hoods. I have this car been trying to sell. The hood latch needs two people to open that's why he couldn't open the hood.
