Thank you for the clarity of your presentation. I have a collection that is very broad in scope--a lot of different denominations--and I am trying to zero in on what I have that might be valuable. I deeply appreciate how slowly you go. I know quite a bit about coins, but videos made by children in baseball caps speaking quickly in poor English only arouse my scorn. I do have bicentennial dollars, and will go through them very carefully. I was born in 1949, and got my start in coin collecting in 1959, their year of the Lincoln Memorial reverse. My father brought home boxes of old change from his parents' attic, which helped me fill in old dates.
I am a bicentennial child so I have collected several of the Ike's quarters nickels dimes even Pennies from 76. I will be looking for these errors as you pointed out always grateful thanks for the information
Hello yes I have quite a few 1976-IKE dollars I have two PCGS PR-69-DCAM-1976-S,, An I also have Two United States Bicentennial Silver Uncirculated Sets I think are in really good shape,, I also have lots of Clad coins but none that I think would grade high enough,, one I’m really proud of is 1976-S Bicentennial Half Dollar PROOF-70 an I’m pretty sure it’s a D/D. I also have many 1976 Quarters some Silver an some Clad. Thanks for asking my good Friend but I could just go on an on about coins I have or wish I had, But anyway I’m sure you have lots of things to do. Thanks again for everything an Stay Safe in this crazy world that we all are living in now my Good Friend.
I bought the 1975 and 1976 proof sets as well as the 3-coin silver set way back then. I used money I made on my paper route so it was a stretch. I’ve kept them all these years.
I have about 100. Still collecting most still in Mint Case never opened. Wouldn't the be considered Mint 70?? I've never sold any but I'm sure going to sell them Now!!
Thank you for the videos, you do a great job. As a newbie, I am extra appreciative. Being born in 1976, I love the bicentennial coins. My grandfather left me a coin collection when he passed in 1994, I was 18. I'd get it out of the safe every once and a while to look at it while reminiscing. Never thought I'd be the collecting type, but this last year, I've really kind of gotten into it. My grandparents used to say to never sell unless I needed to. Or unless if it were a case where something would net a life changing amount, that would have also been acceptable. But to hang on and pass them along is cool too. I just empty nested & not sure where life is going to take me next...but it'll likely be an adventure...hoping that it will be a good one...esp after this last few years. Cheers
Yes I do from my father's collection. I will have to take a closer look at them and determine whether they are Type 1 or Type 2. Thanks for updating and sharing this video.
Yes! I have the set in the red envelope (S) and the 1975 uncirculated clad p and d...my question is this, I believe my silver set would grade high. Do I send the whole set in for grading or take out prior? Can it be graded as a set?
I think the Bi centennials are special, 200 years, what a young country. Didn't know how much was going on with this coin. Thank you for continuing my numismatic education. Love to the family.
I am curious, I have a few of those bicentennial Dollar coins. But one of them are exactly like your really rare one! I could use some advice and help with getting it rated and sold. I await for your response thank you. David
I just picked up a set of the red envelope silver uncirculated bicentennials. Got them in a grab bag of coins from an estate auction. It included a 2009 set of uncirculated coins, around 25 red food ration tokens from the 30's or 40's, a full set of war nickels, 12 NFL colorized quarters (including McNab and Brady), and a set of 2009 buffalo quarters and nickels (some altered for show) all for cheap.
Yes, we have a 1776 1976 type 1, In darn great shape . Its a Denver. With the word Liberty Doubled. AND In God we trust is doubled too. And yes its a DDR TOO. almost all the letters on the reverse are doubled.
Hello always like to watch your videos I like to collet coins. INE question. I have one from 1776-1976 with no mint mark do you think if worth anything ? also have one from 1972 with D mark and 2 from1977 with D mark. I’d like to know the value Please and thanks for your time and information .
I do have bicentennial Eisenhower silver dollars Proof set and business grade and shiny grade with out mint marks. Thank you for the information. It looks like there may be some value there. I don't know if the coins are worth $804,000 but I might find out what they are worth.
I have one without a mint mark!! How do I get it verified?? My grandmother worked at jc pennies her whole life and saved all special coins and left them to me. Not sure it’s a proof? It’s more shiny than the others I have. Great video!
Yeah I have several bicentennial quarters that I saved through the last 30 years , many were pocket change, in circulation, but the fact that any of these could possibly bring a few hundred dollars is worth looking them over again!.... I just found my bicentennial set with the quarter and kennedy half dollar which are in the proof mirror like condition but although I have the isenhour dollar with no mint mark it unfortunately doesn't have a mirror like finish, which if I understand right is not a proof coin but a business strike.... still makes me wonder what this set would fetch at auction?.
I have three of them. One of them doesn't have a mint-mark and the other two are from Denver mint (D mint-mark)☹️☹️ - 🤔 The one without the mint-mark, surprisingly looks like it's type 1, cuz it looks so different compared to the other two. I could just be imagining it though.
If theoretically someone had 20 of the Denver minted bicentennial Eisenhower Type-1 dollars, plus two sets of SF proofs, what NGC grading tiers would you recommend? Walkthrough? Express? Economy? Modern? Any advice is appreciated.
I have 5 safes full of coins and I have several type 1 1776-1976 Ike dollar's in really good to almost mint condition and have a bunch of the quarters and half dollars to and I have mint sets from 1968 up and alot I have picked up at auctions and have collected a large variety of coins from around the world some dating back as far as 2000 years been collecting for awhile
Yes, I do have quite a few bicentennial Ike dollar coins in both clad and proof varieties. I need to look them over to see which ones are type 1 or type 2. I enjoy your videos and believe yours is one of the best.
I buy any Bicentennial coins I can but MOSTLY the 3 coin silver sets. I have a magnificent 1975 clad proof set and all coins in it are flawless no blemishes or problem coins at all. They are in my safety deposit box. I went through many sets and only kept perfect sets. I collected only perfect sets and I haven't even looked at them in over 15 years of I better send some to off to be graded. I now collect all and any 40% Coins I buy as BULLION near spot especially all Ike's and still Bicentennial sets near spot. Got alot of Ike's and Kennedy 40% 1/2's near 1500 KENNEDY'S.
Yes i do have one I am confused with the Finish because I have a bicentennial Ike dollar with a shiny mirrored finish on the president and a matte background. It also has no mint mark stamped on it.
I have two Eisenhower dollars bicentennial both with the bell and the moon on the back. No mint mark. Probably Philadelphia because I can see the copper ring on the outside
I have a 1776 -1976 dollar coin don't have a ment mark on it like the one you show in video don't know nothing about the coin problem ant worth noting any way if no how to find more about it I would appreciate thank you so much

sooo cool!!!! yo bro, i have two packages from the mint ( original with the label) containing five envelopes of uncirculated bicentennial coins. what i dont understand is this thing about coins not being minted in 1975??????? the reason i say this is because the label on the package says 1975 and each of the 10 envelopes of uncirculated coins say....... "US MINT 1975 uncirculated coin"..... should i get excited about this?

I just discovered that I have a 1976 No S Proof Eisenhower Dollar, Type 2. Any advice on what next steps I should take. I left a message for Heritage Auctions, but any guidance would be appreciated, thank you!
I found a bicentennial dollar in pocket change with a double strike on the UED in United All 6 letters in STATES The O in of All 7 letters in AMERICA All letters in ONE DOLLAR One star Does this raise the bicentennial dollar value?
So i have one of the type 2 1776-1996 bicentennial dollar coming WITHOUT the S.. no mint mark..so it does look exactly like that rare one so wouldn’t it be worth the same? What’s the “finish” I’m looking for ?
I just found 4 type 1 1975 proof 2 type 1 . Two in the silver red package 75/76. Those are the 4 and the 2--76 proofs are type 2. If you have the time please tell me if they are worth grading.

Hi, just seen your videos on bicentennial coins , I have a 1976/1976 coin in my collection I’d like to ask you please if you can help me value it if it’s worth a £850,000 coin, thank you, D.
I’m 28 my mom gave me some when I was about 10-13 ish so I’ll have to look she saw I liked collecting coins to save up and said not to spend them because they were rare and seeing as I never seen a huge coin that big of course I didn’t I almost had before too but thankfully I held off gonnachrck them out after this cuz I didn’t know they were made for a special occasion or why they said 1776-1976
I see a lot of videos showing high value for certain coins, I have a lot of these coins mentioned. WHERE CAN I SELL THEM? I would be happy with half of what you and others are saying they are worth. Please let me know
I just found two Ike Bicentennial Silver dollar coins with no mint marks. Also, two JFK Half dollar coins with/ three letters or digits I cannot make out.

I have two Centennial but they are not Silver. They have copper. One was made in Denver and the other does not have a mark therefore I assume that it was done in Philadelphia. I also have one Denver 1971, two 1972, two 1974, two 1977 and one 1974 without a mint mark. Again I assume it was fone in Philadelphia.
