1977 Chrysler Town & Country Wagon
Original model
440cid V-8 Engine
Automatic Transmission
Third row seating
Power Steering
Power Brakes
The Chrysler Town & Country was a station wagon manufactured by Chrysler from 1941 to 1988. The model was also sold as a sedan coupe and convertible from 1947-1950 and as a again from 1983-1986. It was distinguished by wood grain paneling on the body sides and tailgate, a feature also associated with competitive station wagons such as the Mercury Colony Park, Buick Estate and the Oldsmobile Customer Cruiser. 1977 would be the last year of Chrysler Town and Country as a traditional American full-sized premium station wagon. Both GM and Ford would downsize and continue traditional big wagons, thru the 1980s for Ford, and into the 1990s for GM. But at Chrysler, the beloved Town and Country moniker would take on new rolls in new market segments.
MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this handsome and rarely seen 1977 Chrysler Town & Country. This is the true classic from the seventies! Finished in a dramatic deep “Starlight” Blue metallic paint job with “Woodie” style paneling shows extremely well with only minor imperfections inspection. Both the front and rear chrome bumpers fit nicely and compliment the body. All body trim is present and shows well for a car of this period.
Inside, the light blue vinyl front and rear bench seat and all look great with no major signs of wear visible. There is even a third row bench seat that be folded into the trunk area when not in use The door panels and dashboard are finished to match the interior exterior of the wagon and compliment the exterior and look fantastic. Paint and body are exceptional with no visible evidence of repair or damage that we could find.
This beautiful original example of the “Town & Country” features a 440ci V8 engine with a four barrel carburetor mated with a standard A727 automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, Spark Control Computer, rear roof spoiler, fender skirts, trailer hitch, full hub caps. This car is the answer for those looking for a return to a simpler time, be it for a daily driver or a weekend get-away.
This Town & Country wagons are becoming increasingly hard to find in such solid well kept and original condition. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
Current mileage on the odometer shows 42,290, it is sold as is and is mileage exempt. The truck is being sold on a clean & clear title.

What an incredibly beautiful car. Almost as beautiful as a 1964 Chrysler Imperial 4-door hard top; which I think is the most beautiful car ever built in the United States of America.

Dude, that car looks awesome! That has to be one of the best Chrysler station wagons of the '70s! This thing would be so much fun to drive and to take on road trips with your family!

This really brings back memories. My parents had a 1975 that they bought new. Man, I loved that car. But they sold it before I started driving, which was in 1980. I'd love to have one of those now! Gorgeous car!

I can remember when me and my brother wanted our parents to get a station wagon back in the mid-70s. Years later my mother said she had wanted us to by a van, but neither of those happened. No biggy, we did get a nice car, if not a luxury car or wagon.

Maybe because gas prices got too high. Huh? They were gas hogs. That said, I can sure understand why you might miss it so much.

Bought one of these on our first climbing road trip to the states from uk, asked our friend in LA to get us the biggest car for $1000 bucks that he could find, it was a white 77 I was told it had a 7.2 litre hemi engine would love somebody to confirm! Sounded awesome...Particularly when the rear silencer fell off, had to take the rear carpet up until it was fixed as it set the carpet on fire.Remember trundeling through Death Valley with my friend sunbathing on the roof!

Beautiful car in excellent condition!! So funny, you must live in a very desolate area, that you can park on the highway and start filming your car? :-) My friends and I got our licenses in 1978. My good friend in high school had the same exact 1977 Town & Country. It was green with wood paneling and green interior. Drove beautifully!! Huge Car!! We had a 76 Pontiac Grand Safari which was also HUGE! All three seats face forward and it had an Electric Disappearing Tailgate, Rear Window and Door. I love these big wagons. I bought a 76 Caprice Estate in mint condition about 10 years ago, which is very similar to our 76 Ggrand Safari. I often take it out for long rides in nice weather!! Whoever gets this car is also very lucky!! I hope they appreciate and care for it as much as I do mine!!

I had one when the kids were young. around 1985. Had a 440 and would smoke the tires all the way to the grocery store and back for $5 worth of gas.

That's awesome! Haven't seen many of these, even when they were new. Why? General Motors' downsized 1977 wagons really snatched sales away from the Chrysler models, and '77 turned out to be the final year for the large body T&C. For 1978, the Town & Country name moved to the M-body LeBaron wagon.

That's some beautiful wagon. & a 440cid 4bbl to boot. Imagine this people hauler & the many long trips it's capable. Mini vans killed these trucksters. 1 of a kind, AWESOME. In '77, G.M. downsized, while Ford, Lincoln, & Chrysler soldiered on. & made mad $$$$.

This is the real America. This shows what this country can do when it is unmolested. Curses on the cabal off policy making NGO's, unelected govt bureaucrats, pinhead from academia and our wonderfully unbiased press all of whom are responsible for the downward spiral of the automotive industry and the country in general. Vehicles like this, the later fuselage designs and the whole Chrysler culture, show us what this country once way, and can be again.....
