The hundreds of people waiting in line for tickets at Indianapolis' Market Square Arena 41 years ago may not have known it at the time, but they were going to see Elvis Presley's last show ever on June 26, 1977.

Very cool. My sister and I stood in line for tickets at the old Chicago Stadium when Elvis performed there May 1 & 2 in 1977. Just added to the experience and excitement. Great clip ! Brings back happy memories :):)

That was great. I saw Elvis in New Haven Connecticut on July 30, 1976 I still have my ticket stub. It was 12.50. Audio clips of it are on RU-vid it was great.

So great to see. Expels another myth that Elvis' career was fading in 1977.

Elvis was a big concert draw to the end. I think the reason people say that is because his records were no longer selling like they had previously he hadn’t had a true pop hit in almost 5 years by 1977. Burning love in 1972 was his last big hit.

The first time I seen Elvis in live in Portland,Oregon. I felt lucky getting a ticket for the 8th row below the stage. I talked my dad it going and wait in line. He was lucky & got my ticket at 6. In the morning. It was awesome😃

Inflation Calculator calculates $15.00 in 1977 to $64.00 in 2020. A bargain still when you consider today's top legendary acts ask for at least 3 times that for tix.

From what i understand during his show at Midsouth Coliseum in Memphis 1974 the tickets started at 5 dollars- the ticket sold with attainable price because Elvis wanted to make sure his fans can afford to see his shows ❤

When were tickets for the June 26th concert go on sale? Looking at the footage it seems very cold outside so I'm guessing it might have been much earlier than June of '77?

Except these people are coming to see real talent and don't have the IQ of a bedroom slipper. That kid in the video has a better vocabulary - even though Trump "Knows words" and "Has the best words." 🤣 This illiterate fool would fail a 6th grade civics test. He just hates who his flock hates. That is his one and only appeal.
