Favorite year. Had a 77' myself with a 16 valve gti motor and 5 speed.. Canary yellow with black trim and interior.. Awesome rig you've put together.. enjoy..👍
Simply filling away dents is not a restoration for me. Defective or badly dented panels are better replaced in such a job. What is shown there is nice, but has nothing to do with restoration. It's just sanding down the old paint, filling and priming. A disgrace to the great car. When I see the disgusting trim strips on the front fender, I could really puke. Simply cut off with pliers and glued on, and not even in the area where this strip belongs. Boy, you can't do anything. You're just putting on a show of being good on the outside and bad on the inside.
