Same graphics, had a green 125 in 1981 or 82, had a Tri Moto 175 at the same time... Ditched the three wheeler for an IT 175 within the year... Kept the DT to ride on the street, picked up a YZ 125... LOL.... the trading days in my youth... so much fun!!!
It's beautiful. I spent MANY hours on mine. Mostly offroad Nevada but the hopping on the highway legally part sure came in handy to a guy who used to trailer his bikes everywhere. I look at the dual-purpose bikes today and smile. They are still going strong. Can't tell you how many times I opened up that little triangle cover for the tool kit. Pretty sure it was so wore out a sharp rock would turn the key. A tank slapper-ending in a total ditch wreck ended the bike. I was on BLM roads and who doesn't pretend they're in the Paris-Dakkar Rally at those moments? I have another item to add to my Lotto Win purchase list. It's beautiful.
I bought a new silver DT250 and a was told it was a 79 ? One comment said only the 78s came in silver. It doesn’t matter though, I loved everything about that bike.
