I love the way you shot this very sharp and clean. And I love that you left the A/C in it also. I hate when A-holes remove it they think it makes there cars faster
Nice lookin' ride, Would really enjoy it to hear more of the engine and less of the music. 600 Horses should move like 600 horses--I think we might have seen about 250 perform versus the 600.
I don't really like the lowered look, personally. But what a fucking nice ride! I have 77 c20 pretty much totally stock with the 454. Videos don't do this engine justice, there's so much rumble and vibration (the good muscle truck kind), you can feel it outside of the truck.
My grandpa had a 75 Chevy pickup he told my older brother to hold on at the highway he just burst out of that highway like it was nothing that truck had a 350 thing was fast
That truck is awesome!!. Looks so clean you've done a really nice job, Oh and for the record Ford truck are better for people who like junk.. I like Chevy's
Did you bag it in the Rear too or only in the front? I am building a 79' c10 SWB 355ci Restomod it currently has a 2-4" right now and I am going back and forth about C Notching the Frame or just 4 Link what do you think? Thanks
PLEASE tell me the specs on the suspension on this truck. The stance is PERFECT and its EXACTLY what I want on mine. I would love to know every detail on the suspension setup if at all possible, please? :) I GOTTA KNOW! LOL!
Did you build your motor off the stock LE8 454? Bidding on a barn find '78 this Monday, would like to get the HP up from the stock rated 230 to 400+. If I win the bid.
***** Negative. Was against two other guys, the winner paid 12500 unrestored lol. It was in good shape and low miles, but I jumped out at 7500. Put the money into a 5.3L with a 6L80E and waiting on the GT4095R and intercooler, going in a 98 Silverado I did a frame off on this summer. Hopefully get it done for start of next summer.
C Genious Damn, that sounds even cooler anyways. Good luck with it all. I just got a 1985 GMC 1500 that I'm planning on restoring. It has a mild 350 and a 700R4 in it right now. I plan on getting a TH400 and a 454 in there when I'm done with the body work. Luckily it looks like there is minimal rust.
***** Nice, good luck. 454's are still quite common at the scrap yards from motorhomes and such. A little bit of top end work and you can get some good power from them. I asked my local scrapyard about one, they had one but it was still in the bus, they hauled over a '11 Sierra that was rolled, that's where my donor parts came from. Paid 1200 for engine/trans/electronics, I did all the labor though. Good luck on your build man.
C Genious Dang, that's a good deal. You as well. I've thought about just going with a 383, but if I'm getting 12mpg I might as well go all the way and get 8mpg lol. If I was going forced induction I would just stick with a 350 though for sure. That 5.3 should be a beast. I'm gonna subscribe to you and you should post some videos of that sucker.

@@akreone1 you Dyno the engine or just guessing on hp? Don't sound like 600hp to me. I have a 540hp and 535 foot pounds of tourqe 454 in my 1986 military truck and it sounds way more radical over yours.
