Laughing my ass off: "anyone wanna tell Diesel Creek how to do this right?" 🤣 ... our thoughts exactly!! He does a lot of projects, but we've yet to see him complete one. 🤷♀️ Loving what you do ... 👍🇺🇲😎
I think he actually gets most of them done with a notable exception being the 50s Autocar. I'm pretty sure he's waiting on the body shop to finish the cab, or he's working on sourcing a replacement?
Matt Completes most of his projects. He just doesn't show everything. These guys have alot on their plates with their normal work then on top of that they have to edit hours of video that they record. They do it by themselves too. And to add one more thing, they work normal jobs like the rest of us. These guys stay busy.
@@Vanbooskie diesel creek doesn't work a normal job , and o don't think he actually does any "jobs " either ... maybe one or two but not like any real earthwork operation
Thanks for sharing Wayne, after 20 yrs of running a pair of 68 International Loadstars with those 6v53s. They make music for the sole! If you treat them right they'll last forever.
Another great video, I enjoyed watching you joking, laughing and working on the old girl . She's a big one, and didn't realize tahat she was that big till later . You all got her fired up and she sounded good . Glad to see that you all got it running and back to working, I had never heard of that brand name before . I will see you all later, so take care and stay safe out there working . 🤗👍💫
Hi from uk Wayne 👋👍 great job with excavator nice piece too 👌 when the line let loose you should of wiped whole machine down with expelled oil the covers and pump/line house came ip amazing 👌 thanks for your time be safe and see you soon 👍 👋
Nice find wayne, those are kinda rare actually. HW didn't make excavators very long, and primarily used DD engs. I was told by a bunch of experienced old timers on the Heavy Equipment forums that almost all the parts on these are "Generic" and can be found. Only certain things is Specific to HW. I've always wanted a C12-HD.
Why can’t they make new stuff more like this? Fires right up after years of sitting, “simple” to operate and none of the emissions and electronic BS. Plus that Detroit scream 👍
Up at Onaway, waiting for the band to play, watching an Ol2Stroker Video. It don’t get much better than this. Look forward to seeing you and James here next May. Thanks for the Videos, Wayne.
My old man had a Hein Warner on a 10 wheel drive Crane carrier chasis. We worked the hell out of that thing in the pit bailing gravel until the old Jimmy was so worn out it just wouldnt start anymore.I think it was built in 1967,it was ahead of its time as for speed and quality of build.
I had to run them at 10 years old pulling levers for my father repairing them for area farmers and construction companies. Our muckland soils were constantly having the drainage ditches dug with hein Werner’s . Many house foundation septic fields. Buildings , even the nuclear plants near us. Cat took over in this area eventually.
The old truck is my favorite one on RU-vid right now saying a lot because I do really love cabovers usually but that old 2 stroke and the paint scheme just sets it aside from the others
Never heard of a Hein Werner, what a wild machine! And here I thought 200 series Cat controls were backwards…had to haul a 215 for a guy the other day and I was all kinds of confused. Like give me a pattern changer fellas lol
Cole I think the FOOT controls where because of the early Hydraulic Excavator tryed to keep the same foot controls of the Brakes on a cable Excavator early Link Belt Hydraulic Hoes, had foot controls for function. I think a Lot of operator in the 70s. where use to using there feet.
Heh heh, after the bleeding of impure juices in the crankcase, I'm surprised that 6v53 started and ran that well!😄 The bee war was entertaining. I'm glad we don't have to deal with as many of those out west here. Considering what you were working with, and how long it sat, I'm surprised it made it out with only one broken hydraulic hose. Not too bad at all.. and it even starts from the cab! That's a real plus.😂👍
Diesel creek is in my top 5 youtubers.. He does awesome work and getting great credit for his time and effort..ps nice work on this excavator. Don't call out over channels trying to put them down.
Glad to read it's just ball-busting. Dudes like Matt @ Diesel Creek, Andrew Camarata, and you guys too, have taught me a lot about a lot and have made me more confident to do my own work and not be so afraid of it. I respect them all
Great video Wayne another Cool 😎 V6 Detroit revival. Pretty nice looking excavator for how long it been sitting out there. Looking forward to your next video Wayne.
Hi Wayne. Morning beer ? As usual I'm impressed ! Amazing how good it runs after sitting so long. Surprised all the glass hasn't been shot out of the cab . Enjoy your weekend !
more old junk saved well done an when the truck was turning in the field i was thinking of the old song Give me 40 acres an i'll turn this thing around . cheers mate 🇦🇺
She sounds wonderful, better than the starter. With that much coolant in the pan one or more cylinders could have had the liner rusted. She sounds wonderful. I love her already.
“Hold my beer” Goes up and fixes it, fires right up off the key “Give me my beer back” *bees come out to tango* This is my kind of party right here 😂 Good ol’ brake cleaner spray is a mechanic’s friend in more than one way! RIP bees 🐝
How goes it Wayne. Loved the video friend. I respect all you guys for working your normal work then on top of that yall have to edit hours of video. Much respect. ✌✌
gotta love the sound of the old detroits.i used to drive back in late 70s mid 80s ford had a conventional big sleeper short nose they where detroits but i hated them but loved them cause of the ride.but my 79 transtar big cam 400 would outpull them all of the time at 50000 lbs.i hauled gas and linseeed oil
Wayne my brotha: You and the crew really get into some cool ol' junk! Looks like Kurt scored a good old low hour hunk of iron there......hope he picked her up for bargain price of whatever LOL
My grandfather was a Hein Werner dealer for bottle jacks, truck jacks etc in New Hampshire. Never knew Hein Warner made heavy equipment. Their floor and bottle jacks were good stuff.
Three stooges engineering . Another save my dude! 6v53 .Man those controls were hokey. What causes so much coolant in the oil pan? Liner going south? Great video I lmao when you yelled Rooster! Rock on!!
