Put an earlier 4V intake on there. W/O EGR. You will be glad you did.

The knob on the shroud is for the Olds 403 radiator hose plastic holder. Both engines used that shroud.

thanks, the ribbed one on the "79" has a 403, sticker outline as the sticker was removed. But I already got a replacement that has the ribs.

I’m doing the same thing to a 77 SE Trans Am in Georgia. I want mine totally stock.

@@jeffsrealestatediary8729 I have a channel, @wlc1980, so far I only have some Monte Carlo stuff and a 1969 Camaro videos. I'm in the parts collecting phase of my 1977 Trans Am , hopefully soon!
