My dad bought this car. ❤ It now resides in Wisconsin in a climate controlled garage. I have driven it, and it is wonderful. It's like going back in time to 1979! My dad was a Chrysler dealer in the 70's.

A GREAT SOLID AMERICAN CAR! I owned a BEATEN '78 LeBaron coupe! I wish I still had this car! RAN ALWAYS, CHEAP TO REPAIR, AND DURABLE!

Wow, that has to be close to the nicest 1979 LeBaron in existence. I'm looking at buying one right now but it isn't as nice as that.

My dad had two, a midnight blue one a few shades darker than this one and a red one when I was a kid. I was 4-8 years old then; I'm 42 now.

I owned a '79 Dodge Diplomat 4 door (VERY rusty, but ALWAYS RAN), a '78 Dodge Diplomat 2 door (NICE!), a '79 LeBaron 2 door (my buddy borrowed it, hit two deers in the same night, yet it still SURVIVED) and an '80 Dodge Diplomat and LeBaron, which were "okay", but NOT as GOOD!
