I called Honda Corporate trying to get some Mugen Decals for my '79 250 (Simon's fork-Fox Airshox) and pestered them to the point they somehow got him to call me and he was amazing and sympathetic to my Teenage dilemma! After talking bikes (I also had a 360 ATC) He mailed me a collection of Stickers and I still have a matching pair of Tank Decals in my collection all these years later! They are as sacred as the autographed Honda Wings I got from DeCoster! All my favorite bikes fell in the 360 to 400cc size as the perfect blend of weight and power.
Oh wow that is an awesome find, I've never seen one in person, only in MXA magazines back in the day. You did a great job putting this together, the fox suspension puts it over the top.
This guy has some nice bikes. Been watching his channel for a few years. LOVE TO SEE A VIDEO OF YOUR WHOLE COLLECTION. I HAVE AN 82 MINT CR480 1985 MINT CR80 BUT I PUT THE MORE HEAVIER DUTY 86 CR80 SWING ARM AND FRONT END THE 86 SWING ARM IS MUCH WIDER AND THE AXLE BOLT IT WAY THICKER . ALSO HAVE 2 86 CR80S AND A 1984 CR60. HOPING TO FIND A NICE 86CR500 TO RESTORE
much love and respect for your incredible work in bringing this icon back to life ,just an amazing build and a sensational bike ,you sir are by far the master in restoring these classics
Yes, that would be nice. The air cooled kits are as rare as hens teeth. Be sure to check out my other 70+ vintage mx videos. There are a few more mugens in there. Just search kingdebary
Beautiful bike again!!! Love your bikes. Have a question. I’m trying to restore my uncles 81 Honda xr200r. Having a hard time finding good plastic. Maier plastic is terrible. Any ideas? Thank you
Best of luck to you. I've had 7 acl reconstruction surgeries. plates, screws, and ligaments from cadavers. Still ride my purchased brand new by me 1988 kx125 more days than not. Stay on your rehab. God bless.
