I would say 79 Brett but Brett is worth a bit more. My first 79 Rose is probably a 5-6 and my guess is this one is a 7+. I'm also looking for 78 or 79 Mike Webster or 79 or before John Hannah if you do fb cards. Otherwise I don't have any Stargells, Palmers, or Bench from 79 or before.

I agree - this rip was over a year ago and I haven't had a resealed rip since then. The only thing weird about the rip was the Pete Rose hit. I still can't get my mind around leaving that one.

@@thewaxpackdad Yep, that is him. He only played 2 games with the Pirates to wrap his playing career, but that is the guy.

One had roller marks perfect over the flap and one was roller marks over one side.only. The first pack seemed legit as the rose was in pretty good condition. Is there collation issues that you know of?

@@thewaxpackdad some of the cards seemed out of place, like the rose. Half the pack should be cards from sheets a,b,and c. The other half would be from sheets d, e, and f. They are never mixed.

Less expensive than you might think and definitely less expensive than the 1980. Looking at high 30s to mid to high 40s a pack.
