A Seahawks shootout at home, a classic Zorn versus (Archie) Manning matchup, involving a little explosive device incident too apparently thrown from the stands. Fun game overall!
What an underated gem of a game. Just for some context, teams were embarrassingly conservative at this time in history. So here we have Seattle just scoring a TD to go up 7 with a little over 6 minutes to go. Whats he (Patera) do from there? At the 92 minute mark he goes surprise onside, and they get it. Talk about ballsy. And if that wasnt enough, when that drive stalls and facing a 4th and 15 with 4 minutes to go, a fake punt. From your own 35 no less. Are you kidding me? I knew Patera was a bit of a gambler with that Monday Night game in Atlanta. But what he did in the final 6 minutes or so in this game is legendary imo.
