1979 Yamaha GT80MX 

This was my first bike in 1975 I was 11. So many miles and memories and It Never let me down!

My older cousin got a new one of these when we were kids, i was so jealous. 2 years later i got a YZ80, he was so jealous. Life was good.

That’s awesome. That was my very first dirt bike ever in 1980. I think mine was a mx80 and I wish I knew what year it was. I just remember my pap and dad fixing it up. My cousin had a gt80 and I was so jealous so they found me a fixer upper. I was 5 years old. Thanks

Just rehabilitated a 72 model. So much fun to ride. 46 mph wide open.

OMG had a 77, MX version too, no lights etc... Yellow with silver fenders... then a 79 YZ 80 and all YZ's from then,,, awesome memories...

I had a 74 Enduro 80 .. good times as a kid

I had one exactly like this. Sold it and bought a brand new 1981 CR80. Two different worlds.
