Ryan I agree. The Comfortron automatic A/C was available option on Caprices as far back as 65’ or 66’. I’m not certain, but I think this was the last year Chevrolet offered Comfortron in the Caprice. Indeed rare.
Thats a 800 dollar car homie. I'm a skilled metal guy and what you think is very easy is quite a bit of work to do it correctly what year saying needs replacing is where the door skin meets the door frame and where those rockers made the rear quarters didn't look too healthy either I can just imagine what underneath looks like
Is that just surface rust by that being a Canadian car it's gonna be subject to a lot of rusting due to all the anti-icing chemicals,salt and all other de-icing agents.
I know this is a old post but just for future reference it was from Leader Saskatchewan Canada not Leader Saskatoon Canada. They use lots of road salt here so that is why the rust. But I have to say this is a typical salesman. Trust me, there was more wrong with that car that he was telling you. I know because I live about 1 hour away from Leader Saskatchewan Canada.
