1980 Cutlass Supreme LS Swap done in 2 weeks! Purchased a running and driving car and did a complete swap on it. Has a stock 5.3 with 164k miles and a 4L60e with 121k miles on it. Used as many of the factory 5.3 components as possible because they are readily available and cheap to replace. This is a bare minimum kinda swap done cheaply but safety is always at the top of the list! The driver's side manifold and transmission cross member are the only things I had to modify to make work, everything else bolted in. Car has 2.56 gears so nothing impressive off the line but does great once it winds up. Very impressive on the interstate at 1750 rpms doing 79 mph. Turned out to be a great little daily driver that can still get up and go if needed. Couldn't stand the bright orange so gave it a quick rattle can makeover to complete the transformation!
