Currently I am only posting variations of "SOUL" music (RnB, Blues, Smooth Jazz, Pop crossovers, etc). But I may start posting others genres of music (Lovers Rock, Reggae, Jazz and Pop).
My two passions in life are cars and music. But I spent most of my money over the last 45 years collecting records and crate digging for obscure vinyl. Like many others, I could have probably bought my dream car instead - but music runs through my heart and soul, so no regrets.
I am posting some informative videos created by "Digital Music Jukebox", an application I wrote to provide an immersive visual experience to accompany audio. This has meant I don't have to search for the vinyl or cause further wear to the records...and yes some CDs.
When the Covid outbreak started and lockdown was imposed, I created multiple RU-vid music channels. Since much of my music is very old and from vinyl records, I spend considerable time cleaning up the digitised audio to improve the sound and better simulate a vinyl source - at least that is my opinion.
But I recently made the hard decision to delete my previous RU-vid music channels. Given how much time and effort it took to create new content, the resulting RU-vid views and subscribers were disappointing. Worst still other RU-vidrs were posting the audio content without giving me any credit (I know because I add a digital watermark to my edited audio files) and getting more views and likes than me 😭
