Very interesting, but a fact, because lately coins are not minted for quality, but mostly for change, that's why we as collectors are disappointed because we can't enjoy the newer coins as much as the older.
I watch all your videos from the beginning and in the past my interest was to seek quick conclusive answers or discover new errors and it was difficult to make it halfway to the meat of your video. But I have stuck with you because your delivery of important info has matured and now your spots are far more interesting and relayed like a coin collector to a coin collector as it should be. This video is greatly improved over all your work and I think its a winning piece of work. Now I can't wait to watch what I used to have to watch.
Hey Blue! Just found the best 1983 D ever!!! Customer wrapped rolls! Blows my mind that i found this in this ms++ shape!! NO coin marks in fields!! Great strike!! UnReal i found this! I have been saving 1983 Quarters ever since I learned of their value over 2 months ago, but I only have a few of them and they are not in the best condition. Now I will have to watch out for 1969 Quarters too.

I guess im randomly asking but does someone know a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly lost the login password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
I have a roll of 1965 quarters I also have half a roll of 66 a few 67's and three rolls each of 1982s in 1983's and I have no idea where to take them or what their value is. I don't wanna be scammed or ripped off by some coin dealer trying to give me the runaround. What would you ask for them if you were me?
Good Evening Blue Ridge and my fellow coin COLLECTER. Hey Shawn man today was my lucky day I got a 1973 and a 1983 and a 1966 Quarter in my change at the gas station today. I love that damn gas station. Good night ALL.
Thanks so much. I just started obsessing over coins about a month ago. At 43 yrs old. Your pretty much on my TV 24-7 ofcourse I'm still a bit lost and trying to organize. But thank you. I've found a few coins that im curious about. You will probably be getting tweets soon lol
Hello. I saw your comment about your frustration looking for the 1969 quarter. I literally just found one in my change that is nice and shiney with good edges and appearance.
That 1955 was beautiful. I also think back in the day people actually took care of thier tools and dies and took pride in thier jobs. Being from Philly, i would bet most ddo's and ddr's and varietys come from Philadelphia. Huh...i think I just gave you a idea for a show lol. Great video as always. Enjoy the heat lol. See ya Blue Ridge.
My parents were saving coins in the 70's and 80's. They stopped in the 80's for personal reasons and I picked it up a little at the time and progressed when the 90's hit. I was the only one that did.
I have 82 and 83 D . The 82 I found inside an 87 Chevy blazer and is one of the nicest quarters I've ever seen . Would like to get it graded or sell . Also have hundreds of error coins , and dozens of mint state Morgan's
Regarding your comments on the ATB Quarters I agree it is hard to find one without this odd opaque, milky finish. The designs and engraving are the best in decades but that sandblasting does take away from the coins quality. You should talk about how hard it is to find a really nice RED 1983 penny. My parents bought mints sets from 1981 and it had black spots on them fresh from the mint. I think they tried to return them but to no avail. I basically spent those. But I found in my pocket change a nice RED 1983 coin - circulated but still a standout from the 83's I usually find. I also note that fine 83's will be one of the few modern pennies if in high grade they will sell since, as you note here, there were no mint sets. Therefore 82 and 83 are strange years for this very reason.
That That's bc old collectors are dying, those stupid rolls of bank wrapped pennies go back to the bank or coinstar. Searching circulated coins, you do find all sorts of coins that are different from normal.
Yes I agree with them not taking care of the dies..... The coins look like they are already have been in circulation, but without the scratches and dings...... Soft strikes for certain.... My BU roll connection sells them for Denver mint 480.00 $ Philly mint for 880.00 $ A lil pricey for 10.00 face value........ Plus Tard Mon Ami.........
If $10 roll of quarters sell for $20, individual quarters will sell for 50 cents... you charge the shipping cuz the only people that want them are the collector's and theyll pay the postage..
Thanks for your time with another informative video. I am learning alot. 1983 D I have the good, the bad an the ugly 🤪.. but there is one..one worthy of MS 68....
As always an interesting and provocative look at these coins. I still think the ATB coins are beautiful. Thanks for the video and sharing. All the Best ~ Shirl
I have lots! Of 1965/66/67/68 quarters and also 1 of each (1971/72) the 1972 i think might be a proof coin its extra shiny and reflective , Can you please help out and point me in the right direction???
Before the 60s people took pride in their work. ..then when the 60s came around they started loosing their pride , Personally I think it was due to the diminishing faith that alot of Americans had for our government. .. remember there was big and fast changes that Americans had to deal with. .then they had high hopes with Kennedy in office and then a unthinkable happened and it went down hill from there... Don't get me wrong America is the greatest country in the world and everyone who lives in it ,should feel it's a true blessing ...
People from outside the 🇺🇸. Asking in these videos where to sell your coins, is pointless. Do your research and if you can view RU-vid you can Google. There are also coin groups all over FB.
Hey 👋 there Blue Ridge, just wonder if you ever did a video from 1935 p mint set or 1935 proof set ? Hey thank you I learn a lot from you videos and I always give you likes, keep the good job 👍 and thank you for those nice videos👍👍👍
Also remember this. In 1983 through 1996 were some serious "Recession Years." There were a lot of cut backs and War pay outs going on at the time. So yea, people just weren't concerned that much about coins as collector stand point. More like trying to survive and making more money. People were just way to busy to even think of such a thing back then. I know it was tough on me at the time. I still managed to look though and put a coin or two aside just in case it would be worth something one day. Especially "Bicentennials." Even then.
Looking at the 1969 quarter that you are holding, And comparing it to the one I have and looking at it now, That mine would give that 1969 quarter you have a run for its money, The big difference is the one I have, Dose not have them milky like spot's on it.I got it at a gas station as change. P.s 5 to 7 thousand I have to see if I can get it graded and put it up for sell. Thank you for all the information you passed on to us, It's very helpful.I have about 260$ in change that I have rolled up to take to the bank that I have not looked through, Any how I'll be unrolling all of them coins to take a careful look at them. Might have a hidden Gems. Again thank you for your for the information and and hope I didn't offend you.

I have a 1996 Quarter that is beat up bad but looks good I don’t know if it was done at factory because letters are swollen and some of them you can see letters on the opposite side
I paid $8 for a 1983 US Mint set. And why more collectors don’t buy more of them,or more proof sets period, remains a mystery to me. Hell every coin in them is an MS 67 at worst. It’s the most sterile environment to have a coin in as well. They are especially great if they are 1970 and before. Especially for silver bugs like me because you are getting a silver Kennedy at least. Now nobody is going to get rich trying to sell mint sets however you can crack em open, maybe pay a little extra to get that Kennedy graded and make out pretty well. They are kinda like cars-the parts are worth more than the whole. But the less folks buy the more there is for me. Lol. I love mint sets and I will continue to buy them especially the good years. Even the not so good years because like I said,I love em. The luster alone makes it worth it. And I just found my next purchase that I would have never guessed would be worth shit-the 1979 mint set with the type 2 SBA. They’re going for around $70 on eBay. Now get the SBA graded, have $100 invested and put it right back on eBay for $1000-1400 and it will sell. I’ve seen it. Well enough of my blabbering. Back to the hunt!!
Love hearing about 60-currert, especially 70-80's. I am new to taking this seriously and been wondering why in those 2 decades specifically there not much. 82 & 83 copper penny 89 I believe as well. Couple dimes... but not much on errors. I personally love that time but even 90's and now recent quarters your hearing about but not much in quarters 70 on. Now I know why. They were made bad and everything I read in huge/record amounts most years. I've now listened to you 20+ times and will start following or whatever it's called. Lol new to social media. I'd love to get your advice on someone just starting. Also need a good scale ment for coins been using a kitchen one and microscope. If I can help and support you tell me how and lll buy them from you. As well as proper storage items. Thank you for your time & knowledge!! Love it! Love Learning & the kid feel like opening a pack of baseball cards! In fact listing to you & opening rolls! Lol Got my first wheat penny last night 1958 and a war time 1944. Amazing I'm finding Pennys possibly the most fun. Also wondering why nobody really cares about the Nickle. Love the Jefferson m Memorial's and Buffalo's. Sorry I am geeking out can go on & on.. Thanks again!! 👊 Brian

@@Trish-fv7ck The Denver mint did make bicentennial quarters (with a "D" mint mark), to the tune of 860,118,839 coins. The San Francisco ("S" mint mark) mint also made proof coins as well. 🙂
I have lots of error coins. Selling on eBay is killing me with all the fees. I'm in Hendersonville nc. Where can I get some graded and sold for real value? Please help
