Man! Great work you did there! Looks like the 79-81 "Beige" #489 code rather than the "Creme" the 82/83 used. Thats basically my first truck I had in high school; 1981 Beige SR5 4x4! But in California we pretty much have to keep the stock carb! Fantastic work!!!!
Right there with you. I had the 1983 SR5 4x4 White with blue stripes in the same pattern as what he uses in this video. I can still remember the feeling of fun and freedom!
Newer paint code 4v6 quick sand, it's a little darker than the factory beige, it works really good for the truck no one has noticed its not the factory color.
@on1ytheb3st I'm in the process of moving I've shipped my 80 toyota and my 68 gtx so it will be a while before I can do a walk around video of it. I wasn't putting anything on RU-vid so I didn't do any videos when I built it. Thanks I completely agree on the Bob very subtle and nobody has noticed it's a bobbed bed. Thanks again!
