rear fender looks like a Triumph ribbed rear fender. Thats what I have on my 71 Ymaha xs 650 chopper. Mine is set up for two up riding though. Springer front end and a drum brake on mine. Kick only as well. Fun bike. had to paint a risng sun on gas tank because I got tired of people thinking it was a Triumph!
How is it with a girl on the back. I am just putting a rear fender on mine with a little seat on it. I’ve had a couple girls say they would get on it. Who am I to deny a pretty girl on the back right.🤣
@@chopperchopster mine is a hard tail with just a spring seat. I cruised around bobbed out with no fender for a long time. I just put a bates style pillion pad on it. I hope it’s not too bad. Just for patio hopping see how it goes I guess.
I put a '69 Honda 750 in a Hard tail With 8" over forks,,Long n' Lean! Wanted to do the same to a 650 Yamaha! Now it's just coffee and Marlboro's ,Easy Rider!
you had a 69? Sand cast? JESUS CHRIST you dont chop that. Its worth about 20 thousand dollars if ya got a matching numbers 69 CB750 SOHC FOUR. Its the first year and the only year it was sand cast. I been looking for one FOREVER. I have a 71 thats a chopper though.
@@chopperchopster That damn Bike got me in more trouble, trying to outrun Cops until I Didn't. Evil knievel didn't Make the Snake River but I ended up In Riverside County Jail. The Bike ran like a Raped Ape!
@@kendoughty7309 mine is a 71 with an 836 CC big bore and the entire engine was built by Russ Collins [ RC ENGINEERING] I got the motor fresh had never been used. Pulled the motor I already had in my chopper and stuck the RC Engineering unit in. Holy shit its fast. I have the original build sheet. Its never been on a dyno but its scary fast with a single piston disk brake up front and the Honda Drum brake in the rear. 21 inch up front laced to the Honda hub and 16 inch in the rear laced to the Honda hub. No idea what frame it is. Has a 4 gallon mustang gas tank. rap around HD style oil tank. King queen seat. 4 into 1 exhaust that was hell getting it to work with the LOW rigid frame!. pull back risers and drag bars. side mounted rear light. bates head light. How fast you say? I easily destroy 120 cubic inch S&S powered bikes. off the line and down the road all they see is my tail light.
@@Shutchohole I heard tires with the zig-zag centerline give some people wobble at certain speeds, most predominantly when the tires are worn out, might be bs tho.
@@dontbeasquuare I've had a couple sets like that and no problems. Speed wobble is most likely a tire pressure/ poor wearing tires or steering head adjustment.
