1980s Commercials: April 1981 on WUAB-TV Cleveland 

It's like I just woke up one late afternoon during my summer break from school. Because I had nothing to do for 2 and a half months. Memories 👍

Back in the spring of '81 (I was 8 1/2 years old back then) I watched Channel 43 often so I remember almost all of these. Loved Joe Tait (R.I.P.) doing those Tribe games back then. Those ridic OshKosh B'Gosh commercials drove me nuts and seeing this I'm reminded of their nonsense, lol. Oh man, Aqua Marine, remember that commercial too. Casey's and their buffetts, lol. Back then I prob wanted to go. The clothes & hairstyles too, ouch. Then again, that was the late 70's/early 80's style.

So Minnie Pearl just stood around in her yard with floor cleaner in her purse, waiting for her neighbor to get back from the grocery store.

At the 15 minute and 30 mark it reminds me of 4 box top it took to acquire a new ( NHL banner ) and cheap blk plastic mug. Oh, I believe plus 1.98 for (2) items. Thanks commissioner Ziegler! Never had a box of #Wheaties again.🤐

These promos aired Sunday, April 12, 1981 and the game at Arlington was two days later.

It pisses me off that we no longer have Indian Fever because of some politicians and racism! Also the same with the Washington Redskins!
