Big thanks for putting this up. I attended this game as part of an Iowa Western CC Council Bluffs bus trip with my dad. Always remember the cold wet feet and a huge poster 'Send Neil to the Moon!' in the stands. One of the few 'good' times I had with my dad. Also was fortunate enough to see the Bears play at the Superdome in Jan 1986 with an aunt. Forever a Bears fan...yeah Bobby Douglass, Ed O'bradovich, Doug Buffone, and Dick Butkus and all the guys who made the poor Bear teams of the mid-late 1960's exciting and fun to watch!

great editing, captured the craziness of this game. as a Bears fan it’s hard to believe thjere could be worse kicker than bob Thomas. But there is-and yet he finally became the hero.

Joe Delaney was an 1980s version of Priest Holmes. Tragic ending to his life but he went out as a hero

Sir, I really love your work, and I eagerly await your Sweetness 1981 video. I think 1981 was Walter's toughest year, the year in which he was most a one-man offense, and people quietly started whispering that he might be washed-up after this and 1982.

This was the time / era when the Bears QB were Evans , Phipps , Avellini.... Yeah , I know , pathetic lol. WR of Margerum , Baschnagel , Rickey Watts... Not much better. Payton , Suhey to an extent , and good D. The Bears of the early 80s

This game and the Miami game (in Week 15 of this season) may have been the beginning of the end for Levy in KC. They should have won this in OT, and they lost to a beatable Miami team at home with a decent shot at the playoffs.
