wow. I never heard about that before. I just looked it up after reading your comment. Man, his sketches for Snow White are like a more realistic Betty Boop. I think that his designs would have made Snow White a more iconic character, as opposed to her color scheme alone. Kind of a shame that his designs weren't used.
Haha, I think she meant woman. Probably had something to do with child labor laws, since SNOW WHITE was a long and arduous process for all involved and the character was the lead with a lot of speaking/singing. An adult can work long hours, but an underage child is limited. Adriana was already grown by then.
Ha ha, Snow White sounded like MAE WEST. No wonder Mae mentioned something like letting her play Snow White so that the depression wouldnt have been so bad.
@Deep1Purple2 I bet ya that Walt Disney is spinning in his grave, classic Disney is BETTER than the garbage (IE: Hannah Montana, and Suite Life). I hope that they restructure the Disney Channel, or bring Disney Cinemagic to the United States!
Well she didn't mention the whole thing. He was looking for a little girl who could sing and speak as a child would but who also had some operatic training:)
