Cal Ripken 82 donruss is almost impossible to find a PSA 10 due to the centering being difficult to find even.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen the packaging to these cards! Cool! Sweet Ripken!

Just a heads up, unfortunately when you put the Ripken in the holder it was not in the slot properly. The bottom edge may be pinched. You can see it when you freeze at 22:30

Love when we get the sought out card in the box! So much fun! I wish I could afford to buy in on one of the throw back Thursdays. I'm on such a strict budget that I've only bought 2 packs of 2019 topps so far since the release of them. Anywho who cares about my financial troubles. I get so excited when we see the card we are chasing on these videos. You should definitely double the boxes. Have an idea though. First box you continue to do it the way you have been but on the second box do the buy ins by the pack. I think that would be fun and also give more people the chance to get that one card.

I think Stargell had a card in the 83 Fleer set. Maybe 83 Donruss too. Nice cards - some collation issues, but still light years better than 81

Loved those cards back in ‘82. I bought a lot of them from McCrory’s when our downtown actually had stores. I had the Ripken and Hrbek RCs. And I nearly completed the set at that time.

I know people will pay for the box to put on display or what not but I feel like giving the pack wrappers with the box is just inviting someone to make a fake or "searched" sealed box and sell it back to one of us on eBay. Do you know what I mean? Does adding the pack wrappers to the box sale on eBay add much money to the total that you can sell it for? If not I would not give them the pack wrappers cuz I have got searched packs of old Donruss, Topps, Fleer wax packs from eBay several times already and it sucks...awesome pull with the Cal on the last pack!

Well I was thinking it was going to be a bust on the Ripken also, but just like the game of baseball there are lots of failures, but stick to it. To like many of these HOF cards though.

That Ripkin was as perfect as you can pull from wax packs back then, even today we open 2019 packs and some cards are still dinged.

Does anyone know about the grading company PGi.. Are they any good..

First cards my dad ever bought me. Had a couple Ripken’s. One of my all time favorite sets.

Love the 82 Donruss set. First year of Diamond Kings and first year of puzzle pieces. Bought the whole set years ago for $20 and didn't realize the Ripken RC was worth that much. May consider getting it graded. The set I bought had that card in a top loader already and was in great condition.

We didn't see all the cards in the Ripken pack. In all the excitement you mixed up where you were in the pack. Maybe there was a second one in there!

I really would of enjoyed this much more if you had not complained through the whole video that we might not get a Cal!! sorry but I really enjoy the vids.

I would not waste any extra on a sealed box seriously. Buy from a ebayer with high ratings and buy with confidence. You have not gotten any big hits with your vintage boxes from bbce. You did get USA McGwire but way oc. Take my advice if u wanna save 25-30% per box

I think more impressive may be Cal Ripken Jr's conservative innings streak of 8,243 (from June 1982 to September 1987). It is rarely ever mentioned.

After the first couple packs does it appear that the wax is lose to the wrapper? They are opening up too easily. Wax box I opened last week was very tight and most my packs were ripped or torn. I am very suspicious of this authenticating company. If you don’t get a Ripken I would not buy any more boxes from bbce. That’s just my opinion. I still have boxes and packs I can rip on camera to show how tight and crisp my packs are
