Remember looking at these when we were in HS Sr,,, LOL... Dirt Bike and Motocross Action mags... No internet back then kids, we had to go to the track and/or wait on that months magazine to come out.

I owned 7 Maico 490's over the years. It definitely takes a man to utilize all the power they have to deliver! I now have a CR500, both bikes are awesome in their own way. A couple things: #1 the carb. on this 82 Alpha is a Bing. As it should be. #2 it would bring Soooo much satisfaction to the viewers to see you kick start the big bores. Especially the Maicos. My buddy had that same one i had the 250. Funny thing he could,nt kick it over to start it we both had to get on it at the top of a hill 3rd gear bumpstart it was a beast.

They felt like a perfect fit. Very nimble and so easy to through around. Amazing controle any speed. Perfection in physical config and systems. The only bike I know .....it rides you and recover hands off 2am 3rd massive hit instantly. A fast one rides one tire mostly, the kit it was called

On almost every video, you guys say that you have replaced and installed a brand new “gold chain“. Is it because the chain is actually gold colored like they are, or is “gold” a brand-name? Or both? i’m starting to think that it’s a brand name of chain. Thank you.
