Thanks for posting this. Brings back memories of me and my dad ! Thankfully he is 82 and going strong. Miss Fulton County Stadium. Lots of good memories. Love this channel ❤️
I remember watching this game on TV, it was during the 1982 Strike Season. The Falcons finished the regular season at 5-4. They eventually lost to Minnesota in the playoffs, ending Coach Leeman Bennett's Tenure in Atlanta. They should've kept Bennett as Head Coach, because Dan Henning's Offense changed the whole dynamics of the Falcons style, The H-Back and so forth just didn't pan out.
Damn you post some bad ass 80s games bro! I don't even watch today's football anymore! I don't like the announcers the uniforms are too video game looking and the game play is nothing but a turkey shoot. 1977-1997 the NFL was truly at its best
Man I thought I was the only one who felt that way about the current uni's for most nfl teams. They're a damn eyesore, but I like your description about them looking like video ganes. There wgere times in the past when i would nention this to other people, and they would look at me like so what who cares about the uniforms. I would be like, I care, I also like the artistic aspect of pro sports regarding the uniforms. You are also spot on about 1977-97 years being the golden years of the nfl. In the past I would be so mad if i had to work on a sunday, and I missed watching the nfl. In thus day and age, I'm like who cares, occasionally I'll put a game on, but it's lost it's magic, it will never be the same. Nowadays, I spend more time watching old games on yt or popping in a dvd, it's so much better than the crap their pushing today. By the way, I also feel the same way about my other favorite sport hockey.
