I have a 1980 honda express runs great mines tops out at 31 mph just got a tuneup new spark plug and everything no head light or turn singles i live in Wisconsin

i reckon the speedo is wrong, that looks like a good 27mph to me. Peds are the way forward trust me, when we're too weak to lift the big bikes we can go everywhere on our peds

I believe there’s a nut you remove at the bottom of the casing near the back wheel

hahaaha, this is so cool. I love the idea of going to Wales on that. As you said you'll miss nothing so perfect. Just need 2 days to get there but who cares ;) I'm looking forward to see that adventure

I had one of these when living in Wales in late 80s, early 90s. Got me from A to B but not much more than a bicycle with a small engine......

Mate this vlog really took me back to when i was 8. An older girl who lived in same street as me had honda express in same colour blue 💙 she used to let me ride it on field to which i loved it. Great vlog mate 👍

Brilliant !!! Reckon if you dump the shopping basket the weight you save will give you an extra 2 mph. Cannot wait for video from Wales, but be sure to take extra batteries for the Go-Pro cos I reckon you'll need them !! 😁😁😁

Nice little machine, I’ve had 3 of these the oldest was a 1978 on an S reg, yours is a 2 speed that they made from 1981 to 1986 I think, it also has an auto choke as well if I remember. The early ones were manual choke and single speed, great fun machines when you can get them to run right! Thanks for the vid,👍

A friend of mine had a bright yellow express, must have been around 1980. He would tow me behind on my pedal bike with a piece of old washing line, not much health and safety in those days, happy memories, loved the video.

Recently put back together an 80 NC50. Up to 28mph on street level at sea level. Good to see others doing the same.

That’s class mate. Good luck with the ride to wales dude. Put some BMX stunt pegs on the front wheel then you can use them as cruiser pegs mate. Then they can be removed so it’s still original. Great video
