Ha! I'm in this video. Thats me at 4:26 I missed the double jump and went OTB. Got anymore from that race? The 200 class had a huge pile up on the start in this heat. Thanks for uploading this!
This was in 84 because there was a 84 tecate in there and the narrator said when honda first started 14 years ago and do the math and if it was 14 years ago from 83 the year it started would have to be 1969 and they didn't start making trikes until 1970 so there ya go mindblown lol
200x's did pretty well on the track. In some cases they were better than the 350x's due to less weight and not as much low end power. The 200x can be a racer if you improve a few things here and there. And yes, people dud race them and some still do today.
Hondas were not the first production 3 wheelers. In the 60s Trikart produced by a special division of new holland. And Honda's hot their butt whipped in the first 3 wheeler races.
unfortunatly i wasnt around till ''94 and missed when atcs were actually mainstream racing for off road, fortunatly i rode atcs all my life and still continue to build and ride them today, just one question, how did the 200x's hold up on the tracks? i know that for racing everyone went for the 250r's and 350x's but it seems like the 200x's were only trail runners, any clarification would be appreciated.
