This was my favorite of the Star Wars Read-Along books that I had. I remember really loving the battle picture (9:24) when I was a kid.

YES! I remember having this as a kid, along with a bunch of other Books on cassettes. Was the first piece of Star Wars 'expanded universe' content I think I was ever exposed to outside of the Droids and Ewoks cartoons. I don't think I've heard this in over 36 years.

Adaption of one of the Marvel Comic Star Wars issues from 79 thereabouts. There were a lot of excellent stories in that run.

This book is canonto legends....I’m not kidding the guy cybernetics are made from super battle droids! The guy was one of the few non clone officers

Had this on book and tape when I was kid. The story was adapted from a Marvel Comics issue although it is heavily influenced by the Black Hole story. The other book and tape also adapted from a Marvel Comics issue was called Planet of the Hoojibs.

He was a Z-X3 experimental droid trooper. They were meant to replace the clones but in the end wound of on private installations

Had this 45 as a kid. The band Man or Astro Man? Sampled klixon speaking to Luke. Took me many years to remember where that familiar dialogue came from.
