1984 was a big year for ABC Sports - the Winter and Summer Olympics were on the network, in addition to all the events leading up to the games. Of course, Wide World of Sports had their usual variety on weekends. Jim McKay with the narration and the theme was used in 1980 for their Winter Olympic coverage.
