My absolute dream car. I have an ‘89 Oldsmobile 88 Royale with about 80k miles, it’s definitely not as stylish as this one but I love it nonetheless and one day I will have one of these
When I was in middle school, one of my dad's drivers had a 53 98 coupe all dark green inside and out. Loaded with everything. You would have loved that car. Your car is just like it. Enjoy!!
We called that type of car a 2 door sedan, not a coupe. Generally speaking, a coupe has a considerably slanted roof line to the trunk and the trunk itself is slanted a bit to the rear. It's a lot of work to keep those types of wheels clean.
I made it myself I used cardboard at first then copied what I made with the cardboard onto wood and cut it out then I wrapped it with vinyl from Amazon
Damn I didn’t know ppl up north knew about swangas, most ppl outside of Texas hate these rims, have you ever seen anyone else with a set in your area??
I don’t really consider these swangas since they’re the rear drive wheels but I’ve seen a couple guys on swangas in Indiana and around the Chicago area
Maybe grow up from the excuses social media and society has come up with to allow certain things to slide and know more history than just how it literally started in terms of patents and designs without knowing how the ideas and true makers came about needing the ideas or wanting the ideas to create and y y’all just think anyone who comes along can make the wheels be used for whatever they want that’s one reason nothing is sacred anymore y’all all think everything involves u
No true hate but u need to take the swangz off u have nothing to do with slabs and the streets the new school doesn’t speak for anyone or the lifestyle that’s now only just a car culture all u gotta do is just ride it as a regular lowrider or dub car with cragars like u have lowriders aren’t specific to a lifestyle hydraulics started before lowrider clubs and the mods it grew into so just sell ur tee wheels and just ride it as a normal lowrider like any person who has nothing to do with the streets and the lifestyle
Nothing that dude said made any sense. Those aren’t even swangers, and if Indo Fly was a real slab rider he would know that. Those are Rear wheel drive 30 spokes. It’s a Midwest thing and you don’t understand our culture. I grew up in the KC area and those wheels were made in KC at Weld wheels in the 80’s that’s who Cragar bought the design from. Those wheels were on all kind of pimp rides back in the 80’s and 90’s. They even used to put those on lowriders too. A guy in my neighborhood used to have those on a black regal with big ass flakes in the paint with the same fat whitewalls. Reminds me a lot of Troy’s car. Do your thing Troy your wheel choice looks good belongs on your car, and pays homage to our OG’s. Indo my man don’t tell people how to spend they money It’s not a good look you’re bigger than that my G. Side note if someone on Pluto wants to listen to fat pat and put swangers on they space ship go ahead let your culture spread and prosper.
But guess what fool playas chose to put em on their cars cragar didn’t say we make these wheels for the hood and pimps that came after the wheels came out the uses in terms of the streets have no relevance to why the wheels were made in the first place they were made for street racing not lowriding swangz were specifically designed for lowrider slabs and the specific style and culture u put 84 rims on a regular car and use em to race tell me it can be used for normal racing not grow up if y’all weren’t such pimp fan boys you’d understand what I and he are saying and to all the new youngstas who are ok with random mfs riding that’s ignorance
