This is a short video clip of my most recent trade, i've also got a 1983 Honda GL1100 Aspencade A motorcycle i picked up on another trade. Both bikes are awesome and run as they should. The Yamaha Venture Royale has under 43,000 miles on her!! No leaks at all. Starts, shifts, rides, handles, stops like new! I installed a new Battery, and front and back tires last season. Oil has been changed every 1,500 miles since i have owned the bike.

I have this exact Bike, mine was Painted White at some point but you can see the factory gold here and there. The Factory Seat is Comfortable enough, but its downright Gigantic and looks horrible in my opinion. Your seat looks much better, again in my personal opinion..

Nice! I have an '83 that I've been cleaning up. Unfortunately, mine has the 2nd gear slip that was problematic with this year.

+tumbleweedfarm Yeah i have learned that the 2nd gear slip" was common and also hit and miss, just depends on how the tranny was put together and if the owner ran the bike steadily or beat it hard when riding. Though...dumping the clutch will do the same effect on any of the gears, my bet is the former owner of yours didn't smoothly and steadily shift the gears. Still...they are great bikes and these older beauties are getting increasingly rare and sought after.

i just bought a 1984 venture 1200 i would like to know if you now about the air assist on suspension front forks i seem to be missing the control thats sits on the right side .

Yes! She (1984 Yamaha XVZ-1200) is running smooth and proud! i have picked up a few other motorbikes along the way. Found a 1977 Suzuki DS-125 bike that was a "basketcase"-Suzuki has been lovingly restored with all Old stock parts aside from getting a solid state stator and rectifier.
