This was a little before my time although I was lucky enough to watch the greatest Romanian national team play at USA 94. It's a shame though, the way the Champions league is set up today and the money in the top 4 leagues, I don't think another Romanian team will win it all for a long, long time. Duckadam, what a legend, although when I think of Romanian legends I will always think of Hagi, but now Duckadam will be up there in my thoughts.

The Euros were so disappointing this year, the second most disappointing tournament finals I've ever watched after our 0-1 loss to Croatia having had won the group at France '98. When Stancu scored that penalty, making him the tournaments top scorer, against Switzerland with Albania to play in the final group game, I would have bet everything we would make it to the next round so to loose that game was was a very big and surprising letdown. It made me long for, besides Hagi of course, a Răducioiu or a Petrescu who is the reason I still support Chelsea to this day, having started following them way before the Abramovich revolution. Țin cu aceasta echipă de la 7 ani si nu am regretat, ne-a oferit neîncetat numai bucurii tuturor celor care țin cu Steaua! Muncesc de la 15 ani si visam si eu sa joc fotbal, dar nu s-a putut din cauza unor probleme de sănătate. Am depășit momentul, vreau sa ma ridic din cenușă si sa am un viitor mai bun! Trebuie sa fim optimiști in tot ceea ce ne dorim! Si cu multă munca din partea tinerilor de Viitorul lui Hagi si tinerilor de la Steaua se va naște din nou acea echipă de senzație a Stelei care cucerea in '86 Cupa Campionilor Europeni!
