I don't understand why America stopped making utes, this baby is a gem.

@@pixelnazgul Theoretically I'm a Ford bloke, but I have the greatest respect for certain GM models, the Camaro being one of them. I gave the El Camino... and heaven forbid I should fail mention the Ford Ranchero 😁... a bit of thought. I think it came down to Americans preferring the heavier load capacity of a larger pickup truck. In response to Aussie preference for greater capacity, both Ford and GM offered full chassis genuine 1-tonners. GM retained the monocoque body/tub for "normal" utes, which were basically high speed show ponies that could carry maybe 300 kilos (660 pounds). Ford only made full chassis utes from around 1999 onwards, even the styleside body utes. You could unbolt the tub and replace it with a steel or aluminium tray body in a day. Throw in the DOHC 4-litre straight six and a ton of freight, these things are legendary. Ford's own performance division Ford Performance Vehicles brought out a 432 horsepower turbo model, pretty sure it was available in utes. A few Americans have imported utes, it's a process but if it's more than 15 years old it can be done.

@@Jesse-B It's not a process, your cuntry was sold out in 2001. Then it all went down

@@pixelnazgul I thought we were talking about motor vehicles. I can speak some pretty derogatory truths about your corporate run shithole too.
