Terry Wogan chats to Canadian actor Michael J Fox about playing the role of "all-American teen hero" Marty McFly in Robert Zemeckis' science-fiction comedy blockbuster, Back to the Future.
If he could, would he like to go back in time to change anything in real life? How does it feel to be a superstar in the United States but a relative unknown in England?

Michael was gracious even when the interviewer said that the real star of the movie was the car, which is just about the silliest remark I've heard. Michael was cast in the movie because of his natural charm and his ability to bring comedy to every scene. He is beloved around the world.

Just saw him at Glastonbury with coldplay, i didn't realise he has got that bad. it's so sad to see him this young, full of life at the start of his career. Knowing how he is going to look 39 years later, life is cruel.😢

To any Americans watching, Wogan was a hugely popular “national treasure” and did lots of great interviews. He was born in Wolverhampton in 1933 but grew up in Newcastle and studied fashion at Liverpool Polytechnic. In later years he was a pilot and liked to spend his free time on canal boats in Holland.
