Yeahhhh, although it's a neato house...the fact that she paid $350 for the "shell", $9000 upgrades & she estimated $10,000 labor (saved by their work). Why is she asking $75,000? That doesn't even come close to adding up. I understand some markup...but whoa, $55,650 difference? Almost 4x's the original cost? No thanks. The housing market will shift soon and some of this inane pricing will hopefully come down. I can't imagine being able to insure this for $75,000 either.

@@availanila not sure what that even means... it's very subjective and in today's climate, it's looking suspiciously like price gouging dynamics. I already own a home, it was purchased for around 350,000...and now could easily sell for 800,000. I've followed the market for decades. I'd want to talk to the actual "professional" and get the breakdown.

Very innovative ideas successfully implemented with artistic flair by a true artist with beautiful illustrations. Love many details already mentioned by others but making a list here so I can find it later by searching for my name. Some of my favorites in this build that I plan to use in my tiny renovations: "wood plank" ceiling, kitchen "color" scheme (gray looked very clean) plus "copper" brick backsplash, "tin roof" shower, rolling bed, antiqued brick wall, tankless toilet, secretary desk tiny sink, insulated roll down blackout shades, electric panel cover, red brick "smear" tip, pop up kitchen prep counter, drop table repurposed / resized for kitchen table.

This is actually one of my favourite tiny homes, because it is something I could afford and the bed/couch thing is the best compact feature I have seen in a budget tiny home. I also like this woman's philosophy about life, what she says at the end, my possessions don't own me etc.

I love her story and what she has done. It is very homey and fits her needs. I never cease to be amazed at the creative ideas that people can come up with. I love her bathroom sink made out of a secretary vintage desk! Great idea and the brick panneling she used was also changed to look very cool! Love the mural and her art! She has a very nice set up!

@@tinablair6262 It is basically a build of a mini mobile home, but kept mostly in the shell of a mobile home with electrical and plumbing installed and walls covered in paneling, with the rest being left OPEN for buyer to set up like offices for on site of large jobs with multiple work groups carrying out a contracted job usually to multiple types of work so multiple managers, as the buyer sees fit and the buyer is who finishes them off. It can be towed behind any vehicle that can tow it's weight because they are usually 8' to 10' wide and generally light. This was one used on moving RR construction/maintenance crews/sites. They are also often seen as construction site offices on big builds. They're even shown in many a movie as such.

I'm going to steal a couple of your ideas, they are so great! First is the insulated window coverings. I've been trying to figure out how to insulate my windows during the cold winter here in Ontario, Canada. I sew and that'll be no problem to create. The other is the bathroom sink. What a great way to add counter-space when you need it but put it away when you don't. And then there's the rolling bed! I'm in overdrive with inspiration right now. Thank you.

Caught the gist of ur review. Truth is most of America's homes are actually just Grand Personal Storage Facilities for possessions that are barely, or sometimes used. If that practice was to be stopped then majority of homeowners would feel their homes are very spacious indeed!.

I love the bed under the loft ! no need to make the bed every time - it doubles as a couch and floor for loft- as you put it away you have nice open space for exercise/ pets or whatever - if the loft above had another sofa bed couch you could easily have friends or family stay over -even hoist up a curtain to separate the loft and keep in/out the heat !

Starting from the awesome mural outside to the adorable bathroom sink. There are great creative functional ideas put in place making this one of more unique tiny homes I have seen. Taking MDF paneling and painting it to the create a comfy welcoming space or a backsplash are just a few of the nice personal touches. Great home! Thanks for sharing it with us!
