Thank you so much for posting this. I was there with my father in law in the north end one. (We also were at the week before at The Snow Bowl vs TB)-2 Florida teams at Lambeau Field in December in back to back Sundays). From my vantage point in the end zone 52 tows up (between the goal posts) as Miami was driving toward the south end zone to end the half, Marino possessed the quickest release I have ever seen. So accurate. It’s tough to say who is the best thrower of the ball, Marino or Rodgers. One other thing I recall that struck me as I’m sitting on that cold aluminum bench seat, the Packers PA system played the Theme song to the hit show at the time “Miami Vice”. As a Packers fan I felt like Miami was taking over our “Green Bay world”. In truth, they were. Great, great memories.
This was a dangerous spot for Miami at Lambeau. Short week for Miami off the iconic MNF game vs Chicago and ANOTHER monday night game next week vs New England
That Monday nighter was another heartbreak for New England vs Miami. But even in defeat you did start seeing that the Patriots were on the same level with Miami. And then of course a month or so later the Patriots were able to finally beat that orange bowl jinx. A great day to be a Pats fan.
