Looooong game. Still good to see older games like this. I was about to graduate college at this time 1986. Good to hear the Scooter. I had never listened to him for very much before this game. He was a trip but you could tell he really loved the game and his Yankees. He didn't have much for the National League that's for sure. Thanks for po sting.

OK guys, what do you think? At 27:08, you can see the clock, it's 7:57p.m. So the video and the broadcast started right at 7:30p.m., with the first pitch at 7:38p.m. At 3:44:27, the clock shows 11:17p.m. Where did the three minutes go? This seems to be a straight recording. Were three minutes of commercials skipped that I missed? Or maybe this was a replay and the commercial breaks were shorter? Sometimes they would play the game again after it ended when there were no other worthwhile shows to start at nearly midnight. I remember hearing in the 1990s that for football games, the game would start, but then they started the broadcast ten or fifteen minutes later, and then skip tiny bits of the broadcast, just a few seconds here and there, so it looks like you're watching it real-time, but they can show a 2:45hr game in 2:30hr. Or, show the same in as long as it takes, but fit in more commercials. Could they have done it in this game? Was that a thing yet?
