Eva was the best of the Gabors. I don't know if she ever realized how funny she was on Green Acres. She complemented the other characters on the show brilliantly.
Eva was so darling! She was Duchess and Bianca incarnate. Such class and play, elegance and wit. All at once. How can a heart not melt 😍😆 and don't get me started on her voice! 😻
Eva Gabor is more engaging, witty and humourous than her self obsessed sister Zsa Zsa was. She is so erudite and more than a match for David Letterman :D
God how i love this woman! I love how she uses the "Darling!" so often, brings so many memories from the Disney classics she gave her charming and lovely voice!
Eva was a sweet Gal but Zsazsa was extremely clever I’ve seen interviews in Hungary where she was her true candid self Don’t mess with Hungarians! They’re a very sharp nation with a unique, amazing language which is not European!!!
I absolutely love Eva Gabor's humour. Especially in Green Acres with Eddie Albert. They were a great mix for the show. Green Acres is the place to be; Darrrlling I love you, but give me Park Avenue.😍😊😘😁😀☺
If this is nice I would hate to see what you would call a witch? She is snappy, arrogant, condescending and accusatory as well as judgmental, I don't see a Redemptive quality about her unless this is all part of her act.
Lovely Eva was the business smart Gabor. She was the one who had the money. She was good friends with my former employer as well as a friend's godmother Ruta Lee. She was just as sweet and funny in person as in this interview the times we met between 1984-1992. She took great interest in my architectural work during her visits to our office in Beverly Hills which boosted the ego of a 22-year-old intern.
"Hotscakes!" I think she was even more beautiful than her sister and a much nicer woman, too. Her co-star, Eddie Albert, adored her so much, he arranged to be buried close to her.
She was quick, knowing what DL was angling for in interviews and parrying just enough to keep the flow balanced. She knew what she was doing here, too. He could be something of an ass at times, so she'd knock him back, let him recover, then take a shot herself and laugh. Very classy, dancing with him right at the edge. Free-form professionalism. Wow.
I love the gabors. They were so much fun. The coolest thing was seeing both sisters be able to throw Dave off his feet. These women were terrific conversationalists.
The Gabors were having Face-lifts repeatedly. When they arrived in America, the first thing all of them did was have their Noses done.. Work, Work and more work...
While Zsa-zsa is always showing off with her huge "real" diamonds, Eva always says her jewelries are fake. It makes me wonder which one of them telling the truth. It could be that we should believe the opposite of what they say?
With certain human elements in the world, would you make yourself a target by announcing your stash. Eva's sparkling jewelry is herself with that smile.
People accuse me of simping for a GMILF when I say Eva is gorgeous. Let me correct this false rumor: Thé génération that made up my Grandparents were mostly the Baby Boomers, born in the 40s, while my parents were Gen Xers of the 60s and 70s. Eva was born in the 1920s, meaning that she’s actually a GGMILF, since she’s even older than my grandparents. I take no issue with this
Wow my grandparents were born in the 1910s and I was born in the 90s. Great grandparents were born in the 1880s. 😩 all my aunts uncles and some cousins are boomers & the rest generation x
Very few people know this, but Eva was on Green Acres, she played Lisa Douglas the wife of Oliver Douglas played by Eddie Albert. Lisa was Hungarian just like Eva.
I really love Eva. However, I think Dave was flustered at losing control of the interview. Eva was sort of all over the place and Dave couldn't follow her...either could I at times. I get this vibe that Eva has a temper...but holds back. Dave's interviews with Zsa Zsa seem to flow much better as you can tell that Dave truly likes her. I have this feeling he's not so keen on Eva....you can sense this.
I've had a crush on Eva since I was 8 years old when she was on Green Acres. I always thought that Eva was the SWEETHEART of the Gabor sisters. I'm now in my 60's, I still love Eva and always will!
I loved watching the Gabor girl acts. Loved green archers , My favorite acting she did though was the Disney animated movie was the rescuers. Her and Bob Newhart and where all doing the voices. The second one wasn’t as good as the first. I just learned something about the 1977 movie , that Carol Burnett wasn’t the original voice for Madam Medusa . It was Geraldine Page, I had the movie sound track with a book in it , like a story audiobook book, that was Vinyl. I can’t believe I’ve thought this whole time that was Carol’s . 😑. I loved that book so much as a kids I think I got my version over it in the early 80’s sometime. It’s so weird because, the drawing made me think it was carol and the voice sounded like her as well . Mind blow. And a little disappointed in myself , that I didn’t know it was Geraldine Page . 😑 I looked her profile up and it seems she was in many movies and tv products. She looked like beautiful and really strong woman ,
