It’s actually the 1981-1985 draft classes. So yeah. If all those were combined it’d be the greatest one. In the modern era the 2012-13 Panini basketball cards had both the 11 and 12 classes due to the 2011 lockout.

I remember this set was selling $30.000-$40.000 back in 2010. Basically it was 2 of them selling. One PSA all blue and the other PSA most of them red!

My favorite cards from this AWESOME set were the 2 Michael Jordan Autograph Cards, but I also have to say that the Checklist Card was really cool too. CONGRATULATIONS on owning one of my personal favorite Sports Card sets that I have ever seen in my life! And congratulations to the person that put this AMAZING set together. This is truly a great piece of Sports Card history.

Congrats on the acquisition. Mind blowing. I had wondered who had bought this. That said, even without the autos, the '86 Fleer Basketball is like the perfect set. Nice design, chock full of first year/rookie cards, compact in size, scarce (compared to other sets of it's era), and tough to find in high grade.

Wow, thanks for sharing. Truly unbelievable set! Obviously the 52 Topps baseball would be hard to top, but this set put basketball back on the collecting map without a true company making cards for a couple years. I love the design, but always found it ironic that it looks very, very similar to the 1985 USFL set (also stacked with rookies) just one year previous to these.

Great set for sure. I almost commented saying their not PSA 10s but keep watching and you realize it's Auto grade only. Still super awesome set. Auto set and if possible actual PSA graded set will be awesome.

This is an amazing set you have especially with Jordan signing on his rookie card. I live in Canada and home of the Edmonton Oilers and was 15 yrs old during the Oiler Dynasties with Gretzky and the boys. The funny thing is that you will rarely if ever see a signed Gretzky rookie card as Gretz never did that but if someone did ever bring him that card to sign I think he might have signed it but he would bend one of the corners so that there will never be a mint rookie card with his signature. I believe when he was traded to the LA Kings, his first Kings card is signed multiple copies but they only for his kids. We heard about this when we were doing card shows in the late 80's. I can't tell you how many times a young kid would come to our table and barter for our Fedorov and Jagr rookies in exchange for a Jordan rookie card. Boy did we make big mistakes back then.

Regardless of the autographs, the 1986 Fleer Basketball set is a 1 of a kind set, and will never be duplicated, if you have one ...I suggest holding it for as long as you can....it is a 6 figure type of set...I compare it to the 1952 topps baseball set.
