Beautiful looking car. I remember when this version of the Continental was on the market. I found it way more attractive than the standard Continental and Town Car.
My mother had a 1987 Lincoln continental when I was a kid. It was beige with a brown carriage roof and brown Pinstripeing. Same color leather interior as this one. The wood grain was a darker color.
one of my friend dad had a Lincoln continental just like this car same color to. he had a lot of suspension airbags problems. when he figures out suspension airbags problem it was very nice car and very nice ride to. this was very long time ago my friend dad no longer with us anymore and this was in mid and late 1990's when he owns this car.
The dash lights are supposed to dim when the running or headlights are on. I suspect the switch or connector at the switch maybe. Another good car here. Low miles. Why buy a new car? Cheers 🇨🇦
You had the Fender painted and you didn't do the touch up in the back that's hard to explain. The car looks great but the little place in the back that has no paint would break the deal for me.
Except the power train (multiport fuel injected V8, Ford 8.8 rear end, any possibility of being anything but slow). In fact it shares the worst thing, the AOD transmission, but they're not even swappable, at all! Column shifter means the only cool Mark Vii can't use any parts. Maybe a starter, a water pump (though I doubt it), and some fuses. That's it. This guy is selling garbage for crack head prices.
beautiful car but your body guy did a terrible job matching the paint! I understand the paint is old but he could have played around with it a little more and got it closer.
I had an ‘85 Valentino series Conti from ‘95 till ‘01. Beautiful car and plush interior but not all that comfortable. It’s a narrow car and quirky as well.
I think both Valentino and Givenchy have visually arresting color combos (rich looking to my eye). By 86 you could get JBL sound, and, though not for the purists, easily drop in a Mustang 5.0. [Realistically though you should also upgrade the suspension, but it's Fox body, so it's at least theoretucally posible / shocks, control arms, et al]
