prince owned the 80s michael is my second favorite artist of all time but it's obvious prince was the greatest artist of the 80s he released 9 albums during the 80s plus the b sides the bootlegs the hits he was writing for other artists and he constantly reinvented his sound and did songs and albums without a producer or songwriting partner
1986 was a very curious year for Michael's appearance and although he tried to ignore that, it was very evident. The change in the way he dresses, in his hair, in the way he puts on makeup; it was just the transition between the Thriller and Bad era. It is very interesting to see this.

He truly loved her. She was his soulmate in his heart. You can just see it the way he cuddles her at the AMAs in 84. He embraced her with a hug like he never wanted to let her go.

It's because he had work done in early 86 late 85 and kind of stayed away until 1987 I think people got their first glimpse of how different he looked during those award shows in 1986 people also forget that he shot the bad music video in November of 1986
@@nathanlopez5667 same with Black Or White short film that video was never filmed in 1990 or Early 1991 it was filmed in late 1991 probably around September to Early October 1991 and Premiere in mid November 1991

3:18 proud to say that I witnessed Captain EO when it came out, did repeated viewings when it remained at Disneyland till the 1990's and saw it again when it came back for a limited time after his death.

Pelo que vi do vídeo anterior de 1985, a mudança de pele foi na segunda metade do mesmo ano, uma transição, uma nova fase de ciclo de trabalho para o Michael com novo visual !!!! Imagina ele lançar Bad com a pele morena??? Não tem como imaginar rs
It's sad that the crowd was looking at him like that during the first speech. This is the first time that people noticed his skin condition, and you could tell that Michael wanted to cry and that he did not want to be there. Everyone was looking at him nasty and barely cheered, it was extremely silent during the full speech. You could see that Michael stopped talking a few times to look at the crowd, and he looked like he was about to cry. I can't imagine how much critisim he got.
I think somewhere between the awards at the beginning of the year and Captain Eo is where he had the cleft put in his chin because his chin is visibly very smooth at the start.

@@nathanlopez5667 I dont think he'd had anything done on his nose between thriller and bad other than in 1984 because it looks the same between 1984 and 1987. I think then he had another nose op in between the 1st & 2nd leg of the bad tour
@@rondavis19 apparently he liked the way Kirk Douglas's chin looked and wanted to look more grown up and manly, he was projecting a much more grown up and edgey look for Bad compared to Thriller.

I remember the first time I saw captain eo at eurodisney in France. I was so excited and trance that I had a hard time keeping my cool… .when the choreography came, I got up and danced on the small stage in front of the screen, and the magic moment for me was when I did the Moonwalk at the same time as Michael, when it was the first time I saw this projection…. here’s what I love most about Michael Jackson, put you in trance and you get up dancing Awwwwwooooooooowwwwww !!!
