In 1974 i was 18 yrs old and cruising in my 64 chevy impala and i got a ticket for 🔥 ing rubber in front of pep boys store. This brings back allot of great memories. I never thought i was. Going to say that. But time goes by so fast and here i am going to be 65yrs old next yr. And cars now are like tin cans. They bend so easy. And just think by 2035 their will be no ⛽ 🚗. I heard on the News. That sucks.O by the way great video.
graffiti night used to be the event of the year. that is until the Modesto P.D. and the mayor screwed it up!!! now, it's only a fraction of what it was in the 80s. about the last good year was 1987. I was sitting outside the Denny's restaurant at the 5 point intersection. there was this guy with a super nice 67 ford Fairlane. today they would've called it pro=street. but back then it was just a hotrod. anyway. he was revving the engine to cool it down. because traffic was bumper to bumper. these 2 cops came up with their clubs, and pounded his car with it. when he'd just got it painted! he got out, decked both of them. if I remember right he broke one of the cops nose (hee hee). and even though it was the cops that were the criminal. the guy in the ford got sentenced to a year in prison!! after 87' it got worse every year. if you have any other 1980s videos of graffiti night, I'd love to see it. at that time we had a 69 dodge dart that some people called the slingshot. we did a bunch of street racing during those years....good times
