This is a step back in time to an era when there was camaraderie and sportsmanship. Technological advancements began to have a major impact on how the cars performed, and drivers and teams weren't afraid to experiment and strive for new innovations (Garlit's streamlined Swamp Rat 30 for example). Love how the racers have that camaraderie.....they don't lose, scurry away, and talk shit in the press(or what would be social media now). They man up, shake hands, congratulate and slap backs....its so refreshing. People are just different now.
The Race Between Bernstein and McEwen I consider the Greatest Drag Race at this Event. Still shocked to this Day McEwen won. Reason cause Bernstein's car looked like it was ahead.
