My 97 Saturn SC1 has the same, lovely, super squeak in the clutch. I'll never let it go (81K miles). Shockingly, it is amazingly comfortable. I recently drove it to Birmingham, Alabama from Tampa, Florida and back again with zero back pain. With the V6, the Fiero is an amazing drive. I never drove one with the Muncie 5-speed, but the one you have for sale is an excellent configuration. Pontiac was robbed of the Fiero's potential by GM. If it had the 2.8 available right at go, Toyota and Honda both would have suffered (MR2 and CRX). By the time the SE was available (V6 and original styling; rather than the flying buttresses of the GT), it was just too late to save it. Brilliant car. Good luck with the auction. (BTW, can't stand Dough DeMuro. Every time I watch him I'm shocked by what he doesn't know. But I love cars, so I watch him on mute).
Haha it's funny, those odd little squeeks can annoy you but also give personality at the same time. I adore those Saturn Sc1's! I hope to have one someday :) Thanks for your kind words! Be sure to root for the car in the last final hours of its auction!!
"We came to a stop because we have four-weel disc brakes!" Lmaoo. Thanks for the great drive video! Could go for more just like this. Fiero a head-turner nowadays, or people still see it as cheap? I have one that's been in the shop for a while, so excited to get it back on the road.
