currently having a similar issue. me and my dad just got an 84 corvette. passenger door is stuck closed, neither interior nor exterior handle will open it. seems like it’s locked. exterior handle is like stuck out a little bit, interior handle will pull but don’t do anything. any help from anyone?
Do you have any idea why a 1987 c4 Corvette will not start when you turn the key I've replaced the lock cylinder I've replaced the battery and I have no security light on do door locks cause a security lockout
@@JerrSpud after replacing the ignition cylinder, the dash comes on all the lights. When you turn the key nothing happens. Battery is good. I tried to bypass the vats behind the center cluster. Still no nothing when I crank. Yes the fuel pump works.
sounds like it's not VATS if fuel pump is turning on, but it could be the starter enable relay or the starter. Check out that video that video to see if it's the starter, or wringing.
@@JerrSpud Thank for your time Appreciate the help. The Vette ran fine until I started to clean it up make it look nice got the entire digital dash to work and then the car stopped turning over.
