This is genius...man.. this is a totally different take on C notching a frame, no one else on RU-vid welds the C Notch plates to the frame like this, all they do is take a Sawzall to the frame, cut it out and then bolt the c notch plates in place.😎✌️👍

do drop shackles arrect the driveshafts pinion angle like how the drop hangers do? for instance, would i be okay running a flip kit with shackles vs a flip kit with drop hangers ? btw big fan!

I you do a 4/6 with a c-notch , do you still need to cut the underbed rail ? OBS ? After i put my bed back on it seems like its higher toward the cab and not level in the back ?

I love your product … this video is informative … but I think you should mention to MAKE SURE YOU ARE LEVEL IN THE TOP WITH A TORPEDO LEVEL … I made this mistake I made sure it was level with a 4 foot level across the end to end I didn’t see the gap on the bottom of the 4 foot level … just a idea to mention …

I just bought a 97 gmc and it has a 5-7 c notch and I was wondering if there is a way to raise the rear up 2 inches. The truck is really low and need it to come up. I don’t know anything about c notch didn’t know the truck was notched till I got there to buy it

Absolutely you can. You just have to support the frame a little. Different if you buy our kit we will provide you with the tips to get it done right.

I already did a flip kit but i want to install 2 inch drop shackles do i have to install them first then do the underbed notch or i can just have the flip kit do the underbed notch and eventually add shackles?

You can do the under bed notch then add shackles.

The diff actually moves towards the rear. The front of the leaf spring is a fixed pivot point and above the diff. so it will move away until the diff gets higher then the fixed pivot point which it can't do to the frame

1 more question When u know in the future you want to end up baggin your truck but u want to static lower it, will buying spindles and lowering control arms be in vein? If not whats the largest would be preferred? asking in reference to the obs chevys

@@DTPar1986 If you want the static look. Then yes buy the parts. Its not in vein if its the look you want for a awhile. You wouldn't need them to bag it.

Their website says: "Maximum travel up to a 10" drop. With NO cutting of your bed. You can do up to an 11" drop but your bed will need to be cut at that time. "

Don't offer an uder bed notch for that model. There is no space to install one.

Looked like the brake line rubbed on the bed cross member, not the diff hitting it. The marks looked like a side to side rubbing that caused that.

It'll lose some. Just don't put a ton of weight in the middle without putting a piece of thick plywood in first to spread the weight more.
